Crazy. So are they the same exact recording? Or same song new recording?

I guess they'll start re-releasing all the WOW worship CDs from the 90s now huh?

OK, let's look at this from a couple of perspectives..
1. Someone like me..finds Christ later in life..didn't grow up devouring all Christian music. Still doesn't hear it all. Repackage it... might reach someone like me the next time around. I know I'm not the only one like me.

2. Younger folks who didn't hear this the first time around.

You can look at it from a profit deal (which I have no problem with and I's sure you don't either because I feel pretty confident you cashed that check you got from CCLI)..reaching more.. little additional cost..good product re-packaged.

For someone in your position or Roberts position or even Caraway for that matter (because he is on the road so much and listens to so much music) this may seem like a rip off or a waist..but to others it might be a new found joyous way to sing God's praises.

My thoughts: I don't think I have a problem with it. Now that could change, but here's why I think it's okay.

I'm posting this after I watched your next video on influential worship music in your life experience. Understanding that those same songs you mentioned, done by Breakaway or on the first Passion records instead of the original artists, were for me big influences. I think they can still have great meaning and cand still have traction with a congregation not familiar with them.

Look at the remake a few years ago of old Keith Green music done by Tomlin and other artists and how great they are still. Very few folks, unless you knew who Keith Green was in the late 70s, early eighties, have had much exposure to one of the first worship guys.

So yeah, I guess it is okay. We still do hymns (and you know what I mean by "hymns"), repackaged in some ways and they are still great. I guess that means there's not much difference in this instance, either.

So in conclusion,.......
